Boris Blank is one of the members of the duo Yello, who made a name for themselves with tracks like Bostich, Oh Yeah and The Race, which have been used in a number of commercials, clips and films. They are an influence for many musicians and producers of electronic music. Their particular sound is due to Boris Blank, who started playing with the first synthesizers at a very young age. Very soon, thanks to his sharp ear, he started composing very rhythmic, detailed, structured music with recognisable percussion among others.

Yello duo won the Swiss Music Grand Prix 2022. They were honoured for their “originality” and “decisive influence in the field of electronic music”.
