COMPATIBILITY & DOWNLOADS

AVAA Controller supports the AVAA C214 and AVAA C225.

This page includes download sections for both platforms. Before publication, add the official store links and the minimum supported iOS and Android versions.

Compatibility is confirmed here for the AVAA C214 and AVAA C225.

PAIRING & CONNECTION

1. Prepare the AVAA Device

1. Turn off your AVAA C214 or AVAA C225.

2. Press and hold the blue button (only if it is in standalone mode – green light) on the back of the unit.

3. Turn on the device while keeping the button pressed.

4. Wait about 3 seconds until the blue LED blinks to confirm wireless mode is active.

5. The front LED will start breathing blue, meaning it is ready to pair.

2. Prepare Your Phone or Tablet.

1. Connect your mobile device to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz networks are not supported for setup).

2. Turn on Location Services on your phone or tablet (required for Wi-Fi discovery).

3. Download and open the official PSI Audio AVAA Controller app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

3. Complete the Pairing in the App

1. Initiate the pairing process inside the app.

2. If prompted, restart the device while pressing and holding the blue button for 3 seconds until the LEDs blink twice.

3. The app will automatically search for and connect to your AVAA on the local network. When connected, the front LED on the device will turn solid blue.

Note: Make sure only one instance of the app is open if multiple users are attempting to connect. If the app says “device already registered,” the pairing was successful.

If you are running into specific issues like connection drops or firmware version mismatches, let me know your current firmware or phone OS so I can help troubleshoot.

Your AVAA C214 may not appear in the PSI Audio AVAA Controller App due to network connection issues, collapsed device lists, or incorrect Wi-Fi settings.

Causes and Fixes

• Collapsed Device List: The app often hides or collapses connected devices by default after pairing. Look for a small downward arrow near the top of the main screen and tap it to expand the list.

• Wi-Fi Network Frequency: The AVAA C214 only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. It will not connect or show up if your phone is on a 5 GHz network or if the router does not broadcast 2.4 GHz.

• Signal Range: A breathing blue LED on the device means it is searching or too far from the network source. Move the AVAA C214 closer to your wireless router.

• Multiple Active Apps: Only one instance of the app can control devices at a time. Close the app on any other phones or tablets.

• Network Credentials or Router Status: A double-blinking blue light for 60 seconds means the router is off or the password was wrong. Indefinite double-blinking points to a wireless interface error. Try resetting the connection in the app.

Editorial placeholder: specify the technology used for setup and everyday control, any network requirements and whether internet access is required.

Editorial placeholder: add reconnection instructions, checks to perform first and when to contact support. Clarify when a reset is appropriate.

Editorial placeholder: document re-pairing and any saved settings that are retained or lost.

EVERYDAY USE & UPDATES

Editorial placeholder: confirm the number of supported devices and whether controls apply individually or to groups.

Editorial placeholder: explain standalone operation and which settings require the app, separately for each model if needed.

Editorial placeholder: confirm multi-phone access and whether simultaneous connections are supported.

An app update changes the software on your phone. A firmware update changes the software running on the AVAA itself. Editorial placeholder: explain the supported update method and any compatibility requirements.

Suggested support checklist to validate: AVAA model, app version, phone model, operating system version, error message and the step where the issue occurs.
