What is the A326 D-REX?
The PSI Audio A326 D-REX is an analog Dynamic Range Extender for professional studio monitoring. It is designed to complement the A226-MAIN in the lowest octaves, rather than operate as a full-range main monitor on its own.
Is LFE included?
Yes. LFE is included as standard. The range is 20 – 150 Hz for low-frequency extension and 20 – 200 Hz in LFE operation.
Why does a flat response matter?
A monitoring reference should help you hear the balance in the recording. A flat response avoids adding a flattering bass emphasis that could lead to the wrong equalisation or level decision during a mix.
How is each unit checked?
Each A326 D-REX is individually measured and calibrated, and supplied with its own measurement sheet. This makes the performance of the delivered unit part of the product documentation.
