On February 27th, Helios invites you to a focused main monitoring listening session at CYB3RPVNK, built for engineers who care about translation, not marketing claims.
Three professional main monitors systems will be installed in acoustically designed studios, each configured as intended by the manufacturer. You will be able to listen to all three systems under controlled conditions and evaluate what actually helps you work faster and more accurately:
ATC SCM50 + SCM0.115 (flush-mounted)
PMC MB3 XBD-A (flush-mounted)
PSI Audio A226-Main with A326 D-REX bass extenders (stand-alone)
This is about precision, powerful sound, and a perfect stereo image that holds up at real working levels. Expect deep and controlled bass without hype, smear, or fatigue – the kind of low end that lets you trust balance, dynamics, and translation.
The goal is simple: monitoring that supports taking mixing decision faster, with fewer revisions and more confidence. No pressure, no sales pitch – just critical listening and honest comparison between three serious main monitoring systems.
During the day, you can attend one of the following session:
– Session 1: 13:00 – 14:30
– Session 2: 15:00 – 16:30
– Session 3: 19:00 – 20:30
Please note that space is limited. You can send and inquiry with the desired Session here (Guus Boomsma).
